Bahuvida Limited is proud to establish India’s first commercial-scale Macadamia Nurseries, propagating high-yielding, climate-resilient cultivars. These nurseries provide disease-free, grafted saplings developed under controlled environments to support India's emerging Macadamia industry. Our mission is to create self-sustaining orchards across the country. In this practice, we use Australian-origin elite mother plants, scientific propagation under poly-house and shade-net structures, on-ground training and support for farmers.
As part of our circular economy approach, Bahuvida Limited is developing Bioleather Nurseries that focus on cultivating Cactus and other fibrous agricultural plants used in Vegan Leather production. These nurseries support our bioleather processing unit and promote eco-friendly alternatives to traditional animal leather. In this practice, we supply high-density planting material, low-water and low-maintenance crop systems, integration with bioleather value chain, and also offering commercial partnership opportunities for the reseller across the country.
To ensure bio-security and compliance with international agricultural protocols, Bahuvida Limited has set up a state-of-the-art Plant Quarantine Facility in Hyderabad. This facility enables the safe import of exotic plant varieties and prevents the spread of pests and diseases as per the DPPQS, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India standards with advanced inspection and treatment systems. It supports our nurseries and biotechnology divisions and also useful in strengthens India’s plant import infrastructure.
Bahuvida Limited’s cutting-edge Biotech Laboratory is dedicated to developing and mass-producing exotic and rare plants through tissue culture techniques. Our focus is on premium crops such as Macadamia and Cactus offering consistent quality and scalability.
